The primary area we fish are
the sloughs and grass flats west of Oregon Inlet. On nice days, when
the conditions are right, we can also fish the near shore waters of the
Atlantic Ocean.
In our area we can target nearly any species of salt water gamefish. In any given day you could expect to catch any of the following; flounder, red or black drum, speckled or grey trout, croakers, blue fish, striped bass, cobia and/or sheepshead.

I have two boats outfitted and ready to
fish. Boat #1 is a 19' C-Hawk fitted with a 115 HP motor for fishing deeper or rougher waters. With more dead rise than other boats of the same size, this boat rides the water really smaothly. A striper magnet! Boat #2 is an 18' flat bottomed Jones Brothers' Bateau fitted with a 50 HP Yamaha. With this rig I can run wide open in 6inches of water! We can fish the shoal edges, shore lines and grass flats of the area refuges with abandon. This boat is a fly fisherman's dream. With these two boats I'll be able to fish nearly any day someone's willing to go out with me. Cobia in the spring, drum and speckled trout on the grass flats all summer, flounder and sheepshead summer and fall, big striper fall and winter. All are on the menu |
